Virtual Live Actor

July 10, 2009

A virtual live actor on your website will create a sensation. Capturing your visitors attention and keeping them on your website is the virtual live actors job.  And the virtual live actor can do that job very well.  Compare a virtual live actor to just sound on a website.  When a website only uses sound they miss out on the power that  a walk on actor can provide.

Virtual live actors direct traffic to key areas and create a call to action that pulls the visitor closer to the sale and almost anything else.  Having that website actor on you page is like you being there.

Contact Website Talking Heads today and get started.  We have more experience doing this that almost any other company out there.  We shoot hundreds of videos every month.  More importantly, we love what we do and so do our virtual live actors.  So, give us a call

Virtual Spokesperson – Flash, Website, Video, Internet and Commercials

October 21, 2008

A Virtual Spokesperson could be the key to increased sales on your website.  Whether your website offers products, services or information, a Virtual Spokesperson can give you that upper edge.  As your website opens, the virtual spokesperson welcomes visitors to the site and gives your website visitors directions as to what to do next.

This Virtual spokesperson is such an unfair advantage to your competitors.  Imagine their websites, they just sit their alone and stale like a Ghost Town.  Visitors only visit them to see a relic of the past.  Its almost like visiting a museum.  Your website spokesperson has vibrance and life.  Literally,  life!

What a huge advantage.  You now have the ability to really showcase your product and services in a way that only bigtime websites could have done.  In fact, what you are doing with your virtual spokesperson is more like what bigtime companies have been doing for years.  They have used spokespeople in live events, commercials, radio, and pictures.

The big companies know that a human has influence.  People love hearing something from someone else.   A virtual spokesperson is that human that connectio0n that your website is missing.  Every second that your website sits empty is another day your visitors walk through a ghost town  looking at the relics of the past.

Video Spokesperson Placement: Where should it go?

September 19, 2008

WebsiteTalkingHeads.com can place your video spokesperson wherever you want on your website.

Today one of our clients asked me where I thought they should place the video spokesperson on their website.  This is an important question and the answer is dependent on a several factors.  A Talking Head can be placed virtually anywhere you want.  I think my client was asking me what would be the most effective.

Here are a few issues.  Are you doing a full body video spokesperson or a half body?  A half body should not be place just anywhere.  Why? Well, if you place the half body video spokesperson in the middle of a page without any kind of border or line on the bottom, it will look like you have a half body floating in space.  You want the half body video talking head to have the effect that he or she is standing behind something.  So, I recommend placing it at the bottom of the window. or inside of a header.

Now where?  left, right, or center?  The video spokesperson should be placed where it can be the most seen and useful.  The most accurate anser is usually going to be on the bottom right.  This is from the simple marketing rule that we, in the Western Hemisphere read left to right, so, our eyes will naturally go the the bottom right.  This is a great plan unless you have something realy important that you want a client to see on the left.  Maybe (that’s only a maybe) it would make sense to put the video spokesperson closer to to the spot you want seen and acted on.

What about full body video spokesperson? Now where?  This style opens up even more options, but it comes back to a simple thought.  Where will the video spokesperson be the most effective.  We do you need her or him to do?  Think  it through and just make a decision.  Oh and by the way,  you can always change that location anyway so do fret too long over that.

Here are some little tidbits to be aware of:

  1. Covered Links. Wherever you place the flash talking person, be aware that you will not be ableclick on the links behind it while it plays.  Even the transparent part will block the mouse.  So, don’t cover your most essential buttons.
  2. Control Buttons. You should have an Exit and Play/Pause button on the video so that a customer can stop the video if necessary.
  3. Appropriate Size. make your video spokesperson proportionate to the rest of your site.  I have seen a few  sites where the video spokesperson was way too small.  You couldn’t see the actors face.  Facial expressions are important.

Oh yes there are more tidbits, so, check back soon.  WebsiteTalkingHeads.com would be happy to take a look at your site and recommend a plan of attack for your video.  Give us a call at 801-748-2281

Person on Website

September 9, 2008

WebsiteTalkingHeads can put a Person on WebsiteWhy put a person on your website?  One of the basics in marketing is to use the human element.  People love seeing other poeple.  The person on the website gives your visitors something to relate to.

To understand why to put a person on your website better look at magazine ads and notice the difference between ads that have an interesting person versus ones that don’t have a person.  You’ll notice there is a different level of interest when a person is present.    Now a picture is one thing.  But an actual walking talking human is even better.

Add the person to your website today.  Call us at website talking heads and bring your website to the next level of human conatact and interaction.
